Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or eNLC Compact Multistate RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- 2 years of ICU specialty experience
Job Details
- 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Must be able to monitor and read own telemetry
- May float to other acute care units if competent
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays rotate with permanent staff
- Charge nurse takes patients
- No nurse aides
- 3-shift floor orientation
Clinical Setting
- ICU/CCU setting
- Common patient types include sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, and PE
- Hospitalist is in house 24/7
- Respiratory therapy is available 24/7
- Vents are managed by respiratory therapy
- Drips include Levophed, Diprivan, Epi, Cardizem, and Dopamine
Additional Notes
- Strict 75-mile radius rule applies
- Driver’s license must be included with submission
