Job Overview
- Contract role in Maine
- Night shift
- Provides nursing care for patients on the OB unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Nursery experience
- Post Partum experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate
- NRP
- STABLE
- AWHONN
- C-EFM
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
- Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills
- Follow standards of nursing practice and hospital policies
- Manage supplies and equipment
- Promote teamwork with physicians and other hospital departments
