Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Radiology Technologist license in Arizona
  • Cath Lab Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT
  • BLS
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Driver's License
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience

Assignment Details

  • Call required: 8–12 days per month
  • Holidays worked into rotation
  • 2 days of unit-specific orientation
  • 30-minute response time expected
  • Must have own vehicle
  • Cannot work another assignment or contract at the same time
  • Must have been away from CommonSpirit for 12 months as permanent staff to be considered
  • No facial piercings and only natural hair colors
  • Onboarding must be complete by 1 pm CST on the Wednesday before start
  • Weekly orientations are held on Mondays except holiday weeks

Unit Information

  • Cath lab unit with 3 main beds, 1 EP room, and 1 hybrid room
  • Typical cases include interventional, EP lab, peripheral, MitraClip, TAVR, IABP, and EMTALA placement
  • Uses Phillips and Siemens equipment
  • Charge nurse present
  • No IV team
  • RT and pharmacy available 24/7
  • Scrub color provided

Additional Notes

  • Teaching hospital
  • Travelers may work with nursing students
  • Level I trauma experience is required
  • Facility will not consider contracts shorter than 13 weeks
