Location
- Centennial, Colorado
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience
Clinical Setting
- Adult and geriatric patients
- Medical-surgical telemetry float pool with exposure to cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, bariatrics, ortho, trauma, ED observation, general medicine, and other post-surgical populations
Responsibilities
- Float within a 60-mile zone
- May be assigned to multiple acuity levels, including ICU low-acuity holds, PCU/stepdown, and medical-surgical telemetry
- May be asked to titrate heparin
- May be used as a CNA if needed
Scheduling
- Schedule is released 4–6 weeks in advance
- May be assigned through a single-facility weekly schedule or just-in-time assignment 1–2 hours before shift start
- Weekend requirement: 6–9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
- May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
- Rare call or standby requirement
Additional Notes
- Must be in state for the week of orientation
- Cannot miss more than 3 shifts during the contract
- Time off requests must be submitted before the assignment starts
- Housing must support floating throughout the full 60-mile zone and is at additional cost
