Job Overview
- Contract role in Stockton, California
- Day shift
- 40 hours per week
- Outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
- No travel expected
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy
- Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Experience in Supervisory roles
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
- Complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record
- Monitor patient care and follow-up
- Communicate with physicians, coworkers, and other offices as needed
- Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
- Support scheduling and patient follow-up with front office staff
- Participate in marketing and referral activities when needed
- Protect patient privacy and follow company privacy procedures
