Cath Lab Technologist
Location
- Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 40 hours per week
- 4-10 hour varying shifts
- On-call required, including one call per week and one weekend call every 3–4 weeks
- 30-minute response time for call
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIS or RCES
Clinical Duties
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases and right and left heart catheterizations
- May also scrub devices and work in electrophysiology cases
Unit Details
- No floating to other units
- 8 fluoro rooms and 1 minimally invasive room without fluoro
Orientation
- Training focuses on monitoring in XIM and performing scrub and circulate duties effectively
Additional Notes
- Local placements only within 80 miles
- Scrubs are provided
- Must badge in and out at the facility
- If the clinician has previously worked there, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
