Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- Continuing education courses
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record
- Monitor patient care and follow-up
- Supervise PT assistants and aides
- Communicate with physicians and other staff to support patient care
- Maintain patient documentation, including prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
- Participate in scheduling, follow-up, marketing, and referral activities as needed
Physical Requirements
- Able to work in a physically mobile role with prolonged sitting, walking, and standing during 8–10 hour workdays
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers and mobility support
