Description

RN — Family Birthing Center

Location

  • Salida, Colorado

Employment Type

Contract Length

Schedule

  • Nights, 36 hours per week
  • Weekends required
  • Holidays potentially required
  • Overtime optional

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Summary

  • Provides direct patient care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
  • Assesses and evaluates patient status, develops care plans, and documents care
  • Educates patients on breastfeeding, infant care, and wellness
  • Communicates patient condition to the physician and nursing supervisor
  • Assists with procedures, emergencies, and maintaining a safe unit environment
