Diagnostic Imaging Technologist — State College, Pennsylvania
Job Overview
- Contract role
- 8-week assignment
- Day shift, 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday
- Flexible start between 6:15 AM and 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process radiographic and fluoroscopic radiology tests, including portable studies
- Obtain images using appropriate equipment and transfer images to PACS
- Document tests and procedures in the computer
- Assist with office and clinical functions, including support tasks related to patient care, supplies, and room turnover
- Monitor radiology supplies and equipment, report malfunctions, and oversee routine equipment maintenance
- Check the OR schedule daily and provide radiology or other clinical/office coverage as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of records and information
