Scrub Tech

Overview

• Contract role in Salida, Colorado.
• 40 hours per week, scheduled as 4 x 10-hour shifts.
• Includes equitable call, which may include holiday coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
• Certified Surgical Technologist (3 years of experience)
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS
• CST or NBSTSA
• Orthopedic Technologist experience

Role Details

• Assists surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
• Collaborates with the surgical team for patient care.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in surgical technical skills, Sterile Processing, Endoscopy, and Materials Management Departments.
• Maintains sterile technique and communicates any breaks in technique to the circulating RN and surgeons.
• Ensures all necessary equipment is in the room before the case starts.
• Demonstrates competency operating electro-surgical, diagnostic, video, disposable, and specialty-specific equipment.
