Respiratory Therapist in Cardiopulmonary.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Respiratory Therapist (3 years of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
Job Responsibilities
- Assess patients with breathing issues, including analyzing blood and sputum and conducting lung capacity tests
- Provide oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
- Manage, set up, and operate mechanical ventilators
- Provide emergency care, including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Update patient records, consult with physicians on treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning
- Teach patients and families how to manage diseases and use home equipment
