RN Flex Pool
Overview
- Contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.
- 12-hour day shifts, 0645 to 1915.
- Scheduled 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation; no guarantee of hours.
- Contract length: 15 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Stepdown experience with 2 years of experience.
- Stepdown experience within the last year.
- Med Surg experience.
- CVU - Cardiovascular Unit experience.
- BLS.
- ACLS.
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS.
- Procedural Sedation.
- TNCC.
- ENPC.
Unit and Float Scope
- Flex RN floats between various medical and surgical units.
- Float units include Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and, on rare occasions, Cardiovascular Unit.
- Unit sizes: Medical 77 beds, Laulima 18 beds, Cardiovascular Unit 15 beds.
Additional Details
- Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes are used in the unit.
- Professional nursing attire; clean scrubs.
- Orientation time is provided for each unit.
