Respiratory Therapist

Overview

Role Summary

Examines patients with breathing issues, analyzes blood/sputum, and conducts lung capacity tests.
Provides oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
Manages, sets up, and operates mechanical ventilators.
Provides emergency care including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Updates patient records, consults with physicians on treatment plans, and assists with discharge planning.
Teaches patients and families how to manage diseases and use home equipment.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
Respiratory Therapist (3 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
