Overview
- Contract assignment in Vail, Colorado
- Days shift, 3x12s
- 32 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
- Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NBSTSA
Role Details
- Assists during surgical procedures by maintaining the sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation to the surgical team
- Functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse
- Working knowledge of AORN standards
- Working toward competency or competent with Tier 1 surgical cases
- Assists with patient transports, room turnovers, and room preparation
- Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization
- Participates in Time Out Process, including Briefings and Debriefings
- Must be able to work promptly and routinely at the start of the scheduled shift
- This position provides patient care
