Description
Angiography Tech
-Start Date: orientations are every other Monday
-Shift: 4x10 Days M-F, typically 7:30a-6p with on call rotation (weekdays & weekends included – every third weekend required (5-6 total in contract))
-Average Daily Census: 7-10
-Years of experience required: 1 Year
-First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
-On-Call Requirement: A total of approximately 8 Days a month including 1 weekend/month with a 30 minute response time
-2HR CB MINIMUM
-Floating required to CAMC General (sister facility 2 miles from Memorial) for 1 week
-Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests within reason - to be discussed at interview
-100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
-Licensure Required: ARRT, WV State License Required, may submit with pending, but must be active prior to start
-Certifications REQUIRED: BLS; (Vascular Intervention Cert Preferred)
40 Hours/Week guaranteed
Skills REQUIRED:
-Work Settings: Interventional Radiology
-Equipment/Operation/Maintenance: PACS; Maintains Equipment; Maintains Inventory; Stocks supplies
-Equipment/Devices: Fluoroscopy (Siemens & Ultrasound Preferred)
-Procedural Responsibilities: Accurate monitoring; equipment set up; Perform EKG lead placement; Prep access site; Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias; Room circulator; scrub maintain sterile field; vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
-Infection Control: Sterile Technique
Unit Description: Interventional vascular radiology suite. peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, embolization.
