Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Stipend: $1,246.00
Weekly Taxable Pay: $2,345.28

Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital’s Department of Radiology as a Travel Echo Technologist. This role involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services across various categories including echocardiography, diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), interventional radiography, MRI, bone density scans, and mammography. The department operates 24/7 to serve inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients of all ages, ensuring comprehensive care and accurate diagnostics. As a key member of our team, you will participate in quality control activities—such as radiation protection—and support quality assurance programs, staff and patient education, and departmental marketing initiatives. Our department comprises licensed technologists, certified nuclear medicine specialists, administrative staff, and licensed radiologists, all committed to excellence in patient care and professional development.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in echocardiography and diagnostic radiology procedures
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and quality control measures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Preferred Education & Experience
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent educational background
- Certification in Echocardiography (e.g., Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - RDCS) preferred
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant imaging experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Certifications and Licenses
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or equivalent required
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (must be current and active)
- Certification in Echocardiography (RDCS or equivalent) is highly preferred
