Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist
Facility: Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center
Shift: 5x8's - 40 hours/week - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Start Date: November 24, 2025
Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview:
Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Travel Cath Lab Technologist at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. In this vital role, you'll provide specialized support in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring excellent patient care and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technologists looking to expand their skills and experience in a dynamic clinical environment.

What You Will Do:

• Assist cardiologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations and angiograms.
• Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment to produce clear and accurate images.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide patient preparation and post-procedure care.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in similar cardiovascular imaging roles.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.
• Ability to operate complex imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with medical teams and inform patients.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying clinical needs and shifts.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a catheterization lab or cardiovascular imaging environment.
• Certifications & Licenses:
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with specialization in cardiovascular procedures.
  • Current State license to practice radiologic or cardiovascular technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
