Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Travel Echo Tech to join our healthcare team for a 13-week assignment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential diagnostic imaging services. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in pediatric echocardiography, though all qualified echo technologists are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care.
• Ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis under the supervision of physicians.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration and safety protocols.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• AR?T (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Echocardiography Certification) or equivalent
• State Licensure for Medical Imaging Technologists (if applicable)

• Proven experience in diagnostic medical imaging, specifically echocardiography.
• Strong understanding of ultrasound technology and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts; days shifts preferred.
• Willingness to adapt to various clinical environments and patient populations.

• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or related field.
• Prior experience working in pediatric echocardiography is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
