- 933 beds
General Information:
- 6 MRI scanners (currently operating 5)
- Weekly patient census: 250-300
- Patient Types: Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Support Team: Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants (never work alone)
- Charting System: EPIC, McKesson PACS (all required)
- Orientation: 3 days
- On-call requirement: Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with backup coverage during weekends
- Weekend rotation: Maximum every 3rd weekend
- Days Off/Time Off: Approval required (NM approval)
- Parking: Free
Certifications & Licenses:
- Current BLS Certification (required)
- ARRT-MR (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Magnetic Resonance) or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) (required)
What You Bring:
- 3 to 5 years of professional MRI experience with GE and Siemens systems
- Strong proficiency in imaging various patient populations, including those with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and cardiac patients
- Ability to efficiently work with high patient volumes and maintain a compassionate, patient-centered focus
- Demonstrated skill in real-time problem-solving, adaptability, and working in a team environment
- Familiarity with digital imaging systems, EPIC charting, and PACS platforms
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, demanding setting, with a positive attitude and professional appearance
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology or related healthcare field
- Additional certifications or specializations in cardiac, neuro, or functional MRI preferred
- Experience working within a Level II Trauma Center environment or similar high-acuity setting
- Previous experience in an MRI-only or dedicated imaging department
