Description

Competent and experienced OB RN. RN must have relevant experience in labor and delivery, triage, and emergent c-sections. RN must be able to care for low-risk, pregnant patients as well as stabilize preterm and high-risk patients for transfer. RN must be comfortable working independently in a level 1 nursery to care for well-born neonates 35 weeks and older. RN must be able to quickly stabilize sick newborns with the support of an interdisciplinary team (peds call, RN, supervisor, respiratory therapy) and prepare for transfer to higher level care. Shift: Nights, 1900 - 0730, flexible nights Weekends: Yes, 2 weekend shifts every two week period (Saturday or Sunday) Holidays: No On-Call: 1 - 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks No guaranteed hours, OT after 40 hours Required Education: MI RN Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE and ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: Intermediate AWHONN, NCC C-EFM, or Inteleos C-FMC Scrubs: OR scrubs provided and laundered
