Job Overview
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing medical instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patient care. This role plays a critical part in supporting surgical and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and defects
Assemble and prepare instrument trays according to procedure requirements
Operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers, etc.)
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and logs
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Store and distribute sterile supplies to appropriate departments
Maintain a clean and organized sterile processing area
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Sterile Processing experience
Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST or equivalent)

Della Infotech Inc Job ID #1664. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
