•Maintain a professional, patient-focused environment and excellent customer service.
•Prepare OR rooms, sterile instruments, supplies, equipment, and surgical materials.
•Assist with patient positioning, prepping, draping, and surgical site verification/time-out.
•Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and sharps counts with the circulator.
•Maintain strict sterile technique and infection-control standards throughout procedures.
•Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team safely and efficiently.
•Handle and prepare specimens appropriately.
•Assist with patient transport, positioning, room turnover, cleaning, and instrument processing.
•Follow safety, emergency management, infection prevention, and perioperative standards.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Certification Required: NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
