*** Clinical Lab Technologist (Bloodbank) 40hrs. Days *** Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Unit Name: LAB – Bloodbank. Shift: Days, 8hr shifts. Weekend & Holiday Rotations required. Brief Unit Description: Under general supervision, after successful completion of orientation, training, and competency assessment on all instruments/methods applicable to their role, the Clinical Laboratory Technologist II (CLT II) carries out all policies and performs all tests in accordance with the laboratory's standard operating procedures. Works independently in an efficient and organized manner to assure accurate results and records. The work requires a professional level of knowledge to read and interpret accurate test results used by providers in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Years of Experience Required: 1 or more years of experience. Skill Sets Required: Working knowledge and experience in CLIA laboratory performing high complexity testing, LIS systems (preferably, communication skills). Bed Count: 400. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. Certifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science. Medical Technologist Certification (ASCP, NCA, AMT, or HEW).
