Description

Looking for 3x12s Wed Sat Sun 7:30 p.m.- 8 a.m. Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized diagnostic X-ray examinations. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures. Operate digital radiography and fluoroscopy equipment. Ensure optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA principles). Verify patient identity and review physician orders before examinations. Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Follow infection prevention, radiation safety, and hospital policies. Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment. Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Active ARRT (R) certification. Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License. Current BLS (AHA) certification. Previous hospital or acute care radiology experience preferred.
