Description
An experienced Medical Technologist (MT) to join the Chemistry Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical laboratory experience and be comfortable working independently on night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in the Chemistry department.
Analyze, interpret, and report accurate laboratory test results.
Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures.
Maintain compliance with laboratory policies, CAP, CLIA, and hospital standards.
Communicate critical results promptly to healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of Medical Technologist experience required
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
ASCP (MLS/MT) certification preferred (or equivalent certification if applicable)
Massachusetts laboratory licensure if required
Strong experience in Clinical Chemistry
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work rotating weekends and night shifts
