Requirements Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Active Massachusetts respiratory therapist license required Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy At least 2 years of experience working in one location 1 to 2 years of travel respiratory therapist experience preferred Ventilator experience in an acute care hospital setting required Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) Experience with hospital-based respiratory care workflows Responsibilities Provide high-quality respiratory therapy support across acute care units Manage ventilators and assist with patient respiratory needs in ICU and med/surg settings Perform arterial blood gas draws and related respiratory procedures Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver safe, effective patient care Document care accurately in EPIC Support assignment coverage across day, evening, and night needs as required by the unit Use ventilator equipment such as PB980 and Hamilton T1 transport ventilators when assigned
