Description

Responsibilities Perform triage and prioritize patients based on severity of condition. Assess, monitor, and document patient status. Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as ordered. Start and maintain IV access and other emergency interventions. Assist physicians during emergency procedures. Respond to trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and other medical emergencies. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation. Promote patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
