LCSW Mental Health Counselor
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1600.00 - $2500.00

POSITION SUMMARY – LCSW Mental Health Counselor

POSITION DUTIES – Gathering and evaluating patient information, performing appropriate exams, identifying unexpected findings, and maintaining communication with the charge nurse. Ongoing assessment, patient and family education, prioritizing needs, and coordinating care across the multidisciplinary team. Delegating tasks, supporting case management, securing insurance approvals, providing therapies, documenting interventions, and assisting with student and intern supervision, all while emphasizing collaboration, effective treatment planning, and continued professional growth.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – LCSW or LPC; Degree in Psychology, Human Services or related field; 1 year minimum clinical experience in the Human Services field; Evidence of good personal interactions with a wide range of patients and caregivers; Physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position; AHA BLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeks

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 32hrs/week. 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Every other weekend and holiday, Monday - Sunday schedule.
