StartDate: 6/8/2026 Pay Rate: $1600.00 - $2400.00

POSITION SUMMARY – LMSW Social Worker

POSITION DUTIES – Help patients and their families navigate the emotional, practical, and logistical challenges that come with sudden illness or injury. Assess psychosocial needs, coordinate discharge planning, arrange services such as home health or long-term care, and ensure patients have access to financial, insurance, and community resources. Provide counseling and support during crises, facilitate communication among the care team, advocate for patient rights and preferences, and help families understand treatment goals and rehabilitation expectations so that patients can transition safely and confidently to the next stage of care.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – FL LMSW; BLS; 1+ year social work experience in an acute hospital setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – ARU experience

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 15 weeks

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 8a-4:30p. Weekends on request.
