POSITION SUMMARY – LCSW Social Worker

POSITION DUTIES – Provides support services to severely emotionally disturbed adult behavioral health clients in order to meet the individual needs of the clients, to coordinate treatment, to assist the client with achieving the best possible functional level, to maximize symptom self-management and to enhance quality of life and recovery. Emphasis is on in-clinic treatment using individual and group interventions. 

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – 

• Master’s degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related mental health discipline with an emphasis on clinical experience
• GA LCSW
• AHA BLS
• 2+ years minimum of acute care hospital experience in social work

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeks

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 12p-830p M-F

START DATE – ASAP
