Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology nursing preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and in good standing)
• Experience with imaging procedures, such as angiograms and biopsies, strongly encouraged
• Excellent IV and moderate/deep sedation skills
• Ability to manage patient pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care
• Strong critical thinking and assessment abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and monitoring for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Assist the interventional team during imaging-guided interventions and therapies
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to coordinate patient care and workflow
• Prepare procedural rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready and sterile
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses thoroughly in the medical record
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and adherence to policies
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedural care

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
