Embark on a rewarding opportunity in interventional radiology nursing, leveraging your expertise in a fast-paced clinical environment. This contract position requires a skilled RN with a background in interventional radiology to deliver quality patient care alongside a dynamic medical imaging team.

Schedule and Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibility every 5th week (Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–7:00 AM; Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• No weekend rotation outside of on-call
• Holiday coverage is call only
• No floating expectations; nursing support is required for all radiology services

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license and current BLS/ACLS certification
• Minimum one year of recent interventional radiology nursing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures, pre- and post-procedural assessment and care
• Excellent clinical assessment, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary radiology and procedural teams
• Demonstrated reliability with on-call and call-back duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing support for interventional radiology procedures, including patient prep, monitoring, and recovery
• Deliver patient education regarding procedures and aftercare
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and promptly recognize changes in patient status
• Maintain high standards of safety, infection control, and documentation
• Respond effectively to on-call and call-back requirements as scheduled
