In clinical settings, a licensed speech-language pathologist provides care for patients using independent judgment and evidence-based practice to assess and treat various diagnoses in an acute care setting. Maintains clinical competency and participates in continuing education related to discipline and as outlined by appropriate regulatory and accrediting agencies. Participates in departmental programs, activities, and/or initiatives. May supervise students when available to the department. Adheres to ethical principles of practice as outlined by professional code of ethics. Coordinates care with other disciplines where appropriate. Adheres to all department processes to include but not limited to productivity standards and prioritization of care.

Weekend shifts: varies to cover the need, anticipate one weekend per month
Certs Reqd: CCC-SLP, MD State Licensed (pending license okay!)
