Dialysis RN – Home Dialysis Training
Locations: Garland & Canton, TX
Garland: 219 W. Kingsley Rd., Suite 316, Garland, TX 75041
Canton: 400 E. Hwy 243, Suite 14, Canton, TX 75103
Start: November 2, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks minimum, possible extension
Hours: 40 guaranteed hours/week
Schedule: Primarily Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; occasional after-hours support may be required
Position Overview
Outset Medical is seeking an experienced Dialysis RN to support U.S. Renal Care's home dialysis program. The RN will work in Garland for approximately the first 6 weeks, then transition to Canton based on program needs.
The role focuses on training patients/caregivers on the Tablo Hemodialysis System and providing ongoing clinical support to established Tablo home dialysis patients. Patient volume may be approximately 2–3 trainings/day.
Key Responsibilities
Train patients/caregivers on Tablo setup, operation, self-care, and self-cannulation as appropriate.
Assess patient competency and readiness for safe home dialysis.
Provide ongoing patient support, education, troubleshooting, and reinforcement.
Monitor patient progress and escalate clinical concerns when needed.
Collaborate with U.S. Renal Care, nephrologists, Outset, and care teams.
Maintain accurate documentation, dialysis safety, infection prevention, and vascular access standards.
Work independently and support both Garland and Canton locations.
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Texas RN license or applicable NLC multistate license.
Recent dialysis experience – REQUIRED.
Tablo Hemodialysis System experience – REQUIRED.
Chronic/outpatient dialysis experience.
Strong patient/caregiver education, communication, assessment, critical-thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage patient training schedules.
Willingness to work at both Garland and Canton and provide occasional after-hours support.
Ability to complete all credentialing/onboarding requirements before start.
Preferred: Home dialysis, home dialysis training, home health/chronic care experience, and self-care/self-cannulation teaching experience.

Patterns Hiring Job ID #10-1002. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
