Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Pre-Op/PACU with 2+ years of recent PACU and Pre-Operative experience in an acute care surgical setting. Candidates must be comfortable floating between Pre-Op and PACU and caring for post-anesthesia patients across a variety of surgical specialties.
The RN will provide pre-op assessments, post-anesthesia recovery care, patient monitoring, medication administration, and support for surgical and IR recovery patients. Experience with occasional vasoactive drips such as Neo-Synephrine is required. Surgical services include General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Vascular, Endoscopy, and IR procedures.
Rotating schedules include Pre-Op, PACU, and on-call shifts. Weekend call rotation approximately every 4–5 weeks. Charge nurse capability highly preferred. Block scheduling is not offered. EPIC experience preferred.
Certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS + Active MA RN License (Flu vaccine required)
