📍 Cambridge, MA | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | 🧠 Behavioral Health Social Worker – Pediatric/Adolescent Psychiatry

CHA Cambridge Hospital is seeking an experienced Social Worker to support its Behavioral Health team serving pediatric and adolescent patients ages 3–17. This role is ideal for a clinician with strong behavioral health experience who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families in an acute care psychiatric setting.

The Social Worker will collaborate with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team, provide assessments, discharge planning, crisis intervention, care coordination, and psychosocial support for patients receiving psychiatric services.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
40 guaranteed hours per week
No call
No floating
Must work every other major holiday

Requirements:

Active Massachusetts LCSW License (required)
CANS Certification (required at submission)
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
Minimum 2+ years of Social Work experience
Acute care behavioral health experience required
AHA BLS Certification required
Travel experience preferred (first-time travelers considered)
EPIC experience preferred

Unit Details:

Behavioral Health / Adolescent Psychiatry
Patient population: Ages 3–17
One week of orientation
Collaborative multidisciplinary treatment team
LICSW credentialing process may take up to 2 months
