Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Shift: 8-Hour Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Job Summary
Northside Radiation Oncology at Lake Oconee is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. The Radiation Therapist will provide safe and accurate radiation treatments to oncology patients while working closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives.
Prepare and position patients for treatment procedures.
Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
Verify treatment parameters and ensure treatment accuracy.
Monitor patients throughout treatment and provide compassionate care.
Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
Collaborate with the oncology care team to optimize patient outcomes.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and departmental protocols.
Requirements
Minimum 2 Years of Recent Radiation Therapy Experience.
Current AHA BLS Certification.
ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (RTT) Required.
Strong knowledge of radiation oncology procedures and patient care practices.
Experience in outpatient oncology settings preferred.
