Job Description

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is seeking an experienced Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Lab Tech) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent EP Lab experience and be proficient in assisting physicians during advanced electrophysiology procedures in a high-volume cardiovascular environment.

The EP Technologist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and procedural excellence.

Responsibilities
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
Prepare patients and maintain a sterile procedural environment.
Operate EP Lab equipment and monitor patient status throughout procedures.
Assist with cardiac rhythm management device implantations and ablations.
Document procedural information accurately.
Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP Lab) experience.
Experience with:
ICD Implantations
S-ICD Procedures
Pacemaker Implantations
Structural Heart Procedures
EP Ablations
Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PVI)
Certifications
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or CVT
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
Assignment Details
13-week travel assignment
12-hour day shifts
Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
36 guaranteed hours per week
Monday–Friday schedule (per department needs)
Patterns Hiring Job ID #2026-116028. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
