Surgical Technologist | Operating Room
Northside Hospital Forsyth | Cumming, GA | 13 Weeks | 40 Hours/Week | Day Shift
Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support surgical services at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Travel candidates only; local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, varying between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- Must work two major holidays and one minor holiday from the facility’s designated holiday lists.
- Compliance documentation due the Wednesday before a Monday start.
- Badge photo required.
Key Duties:
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment.
- Assist surgeons during procedures and anticipate surgical needs.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control protocols.
- Support surgical counts and ensure instruments and supplies are ready.
- Help maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- NBSTSA or NCCT Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
