Copley Hospital is seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for a travel assignment in beautiful Vermont. This role is ideal for a clinically focused pharmacist with strong inpatient hospital experience and the ability to work independently in a collaborative healthcare environment.

The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for supporting patient medication therapy needs through clinical pharmacy services, drug distribution, IV admixture preparation, medication safety, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Additional responsibilities include patient and staff education, administrative support, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Candidates must have recent hospital pharmacy experience — retail-only backgrounds will not be considered. Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and familiarity with unit dose and IV admixture systems are essential.

Assignment Details:

Days/Evenings schedule
36 guaranteed hours weekly
No call or holiday requirements
13-week contract

Requirements:

Active or obtainable Vermont Pharmacist License
Recent inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience required
Experience with unit dose and IV admixture systems
Strong clinical and computer skills
Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR preferred

Patterns Hiring Job ID #292100-6. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
