Description
We’re seeking a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for nurses who are confident in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical decision-making, and can thrive in a dynamic hospital environment.
Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12 hrs shifts 0645-1915, every other weekend
Schedule: 3x12s
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer treatments and monitor patient progress
Accurately document care using EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
Ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols
Core Clinical Expectations:
Strong understanding of the nursing process (assessment → planning → implementation → evaluation)
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards
Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
Requirements (Must-Have):
Active RN License (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
BLS Certification (HCP required)
Recent acute care/hospital experience
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Preferred:
EPIC charting experience
Prior travel experience
Experience in specialty units (Med-Surg, ICU, ER, etc.)
