Description
Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a tech who is passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and providing exceptional patient care in a busy hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures
Operate Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Monitor patients throughout procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
Maintain radiation safety standards and proper handling of radioactive materials
Collaborate with physicians and the imaging team to support accurate diagnoses
Document procedures and patient information using the facility's EMR system
Requirements:
Active ARRT (N) Certification
Current BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
Strong patient care and communication skills
Assignment Details:
Day Shift: Friday–Monday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
36 guaranteed hours per week
13-week assignment
On-call rotation required
No holiday coverage required
Allscripts EMR experience preferred
RTO must be submitted at the time of application
