PACU RN – Colorado | 13-Week Contract

Overview
Seeking a skilled Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to support perioperative services in a hospital setting. This role involves managing patients through pre-op and post-op phases, ensuring safe recovery from anesthesia through continuous monitoring and timely clinical intervention.

Key Details

Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 3–4 x 10-hour shifts per week
Call: 1–2 days/week + 1 weekend every 4 weeks
EMR: Epic
Guaranteed Hours: 30/week

Requirements

Minimum 3 years PACU or acute care RN experience
Active Colorado RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
Must meet credentialing requirements, including CAPS check

Additional Notes

Rural facility — reliable transportation required (no public transit available)
Holiday coverage required
1099 not accepted

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality PACU nursing care in pre-op and post-op settings
Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
Ensure safe recovery and readiness for discharge

Patterns Hiring Job ID #296175. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
