Description
Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
13-Week Contract Assignment
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours/week
Shift: Variable Day/Night Rotation
Holiday Coverage Required
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a Critical Care contract assignment in Hawaii. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, comfortable floating to related units when needed, and experienced in high-acuity patient care environments.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
Active Hawaii RN License required by assignment start
BLS required
ACLS required
NIH Stroke Scale Certification required
(Can be completed during orientation if not currently active)
Unit Details:
11-bed ICU
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1
EMR: Epic
Experience with Meditech preferred
Schedule & Call:
Day or Night shift assigned based on staffing needs
3x12-hour shifts per week
2x12-hour call shifts per 4-week roster period
1 week orientation up to 40 hours
Additional Details:
Must be willing to float to other critical care and step-down units as needed
Professional scrubs required
Travelers must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
