Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Day Shift

Assignment Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/08/2026
Shift: Day Shift (5x8s; start time between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Setting: Diagnostic Imaging

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple locations within a healthcare system. This role requires strong technical expertise in nuclear medicine and PET imaging, along with the ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload.

Clinical Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
Monitor patient safety and respond to any adverse reactions
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for accurate diagnostics
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Work Environment
Coverage across multiple imaging locations within the same system
Day shift schedule with variable start times
On-call responsibilities:
Every 6th weekend (Friday–Sunday)
One weekday on-call when not scheduled for weekend call
Requirements
Active State License (must be current and in good standing)
ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
Recent or current PET imaging experience required
BLS certification required
Experience with Siemens equipment and EPIC EMR preferred
Additional Details
EMR System: EPIC
Holiday coverage required
Facility may cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submission
