Position Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience to support a Critical Access Hospital setting. This role involves providing care across both Emergency Room and Acute Care units in a low-bed facility environment.

The nurse will be responsible for managing a small patient load while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced rural healthcare setting.

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in ER and Acute Care units
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Manage emergency situations and prioritize patient needs effectively
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Patient Population
Adult and Geriatric patients
Acute Care and Emergency Room cases
Facility Overview
Critical Access Hospital
Approx. 25 total beds
Includes Acute/Skilled Care and Emergency Room services
Low patient ratios with cross-functional responsibilities
Requirements
Active RN License (State license must be current and in good standing)
Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience required
Experience in Critical Access or rural settings preferred
BLS (required)
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
Additional Details
EMR System: CPSI / Evident
Holiday coverage required
No on-call requirement
Overtime applicable after 40 hours/week
