Description
Seeking an experienced Echo Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment supporting a busy Cardiology team. This role is ideal for a skilled cardiac sonographer proficient in all adult echocardiography modalities and committed to providing exceptional diagnostic imaging and patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive adult echocardiography studies including Transthoracic Echo (TTE), Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
Prepare patients for procedures and provide education throughout the imaging process
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Assist cardiologists during echocardiographic procedures as needed
Monitor patients and maintain accurate documentation throughout exams
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment
Collaborate with physicians and the cardiology team to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements:
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS) preferred
Current BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of recent Echo Sonographer experience
Proficiency in Adult Transthoracic Echo, Stress Echo, and TEE
Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills
Assignment Details:
Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
40 guaranteed hours per week
13-week assignment
Weekend call rotation required (approximately 1 in every 4 weekends, Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
On-call responsibilities required
