📍 St. Johnsbury, VT | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 32 hrs/week guaranteed | ☀️ Days

Seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to perform diagnostic cardiac imaging in a patient-focused critical access hospital.

Responsibilities:

Perform transthoracic, limited, contrast, and bubble echocardiograms
Obtain accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic-quality images
Review patient history and recognize significant cardiac abnormalities
Communicate urgent findings when appropriate
Work with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Provide care across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and surgical settings

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required
Current AHA BLS required
Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience
Travel experience required
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echocardiographic techniques

Assignment Details:

13-week travel contract
1 opening
Monday–Friday, four 8-hour day shifts/week
32 hours/week guaranteed
No holiday coverage
EMR: Meditech
Start Date: September 14, 2026
No state license required
Travelers start on Wednesdays; orientation week may have reduced guaranteed hours for 48-hour contracts.
