*Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
-No holiday RTO requests please.
-Will be required to work various shift lengths and various days. Must be flexible. No guarantee of hours. No guarantee of shift preference.
-General job duties: RN med/surg level care of patients 18 and over. May float to surg peds or transitional care units.
-Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, etc.
-Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2 + years’ med surg or higher level of care.
-Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS required, ACLS is preferred.
-Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: Medical - 50
-Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: Medical 1:5
-Dress Code: Professional nursing attire. No specific scrub colors. Closed toe shoes.
-Department specific training and orientation program: Included in the first week of orientation.
