Description
Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist provides and manages respiratory care services in ICU and non-critical care settings, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes in accordance with hospital policies.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
BLS certification (AHA)
Experience in Critical Care and PICU
Willingness to work Adult ICU and Pediatric units (preferred)
Schedule
Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
Every other weekend rotation
Traveler position
Key Responsibilities
Manage ventilators (invasive and non-invasive) and monitor patient response
Respond to Code Blue and RRT/CRIT calls
Perform respiratory assessments and deliver appropriate interventions
Document care accurately and timely
Collaborate with the healthcare team and support patient care decisions
